Well, we made it.  It's been ten years in the making but we have our very own theater home!  The renovations were supposed to take 14-18 months but ended taking 2 years! We were actually able to stay on budget, almost.  We knew the roof was old but we had hoped it would hold out another year or two. Unfortunately, the insurance company demanded additional roof inspections, so with more people stomping around on the roof the leaks began. Long story short, We did not have $36000 for a new roof, so it is financed interest free until next September, at which point we have to make payments at a high rate of interest. So, all donations, for the time being, will go into the "ROOF FUND" until further notice.  (Show sponsors are always welcome.)

Tavares Theater has had quite a few accolades in our short history, including being named Non-Profit of the Year 2025, by the Tavares Chamber! Renovations to the building cost nearly $200,000 much of which came from your generous donations. Thank you for your past generous support.
